Here you will find adult dogs that are seeking forever homes. Some dogs on this page are golden rescues that we bring in, evaluate and work with. Other dogs have had advanced training and are ready for big jobs such as service or therapy work. A description of each dog will let you know what the dog has mastered and it will provide an example of the optimal home environment that is desired.

Popcorn (dob. 12/31.2019) is an athletic, beautiful light golden whose line goes to Europe. He is 1/2 American field red and 1/2 light golden who loves the water, but he also likes to lean his large frame against his human. He makes great eye contact and has been trained in not only basic obedience, but therapy techniques. He loads and unloads the car well and he never meets a stranger. Popcorn will need to be supervised anytime he is outside. He is neutered. The best human for Popcorn will be someone who likes to be outdoors. This guy loves to play fetch and he is great with kids. A big plus is that Popcorn loves water. Popcorn’s ideal home will be one that has some land where he can run off leash. He might do okay in a large yard with a high fence, but an apartment or home with a small yard will not be appropriate. He will need daily activity that is engaging; a couple of daily walks with this guy may not be enough for his smart brain. He is strong and he wants to be near his person. He will need to be supervised anytime he is outside. Of all the dogs a person could have, Popcorn will deliver the most fun and exercise! He will need a GPS collar until he figures out his new space.
